Abstract

【課題】小型かつ簡単な構成により、突発的に発生する断熱容器の破損などの事故や異常に迅速に対処することができる高信頼性の燃料改質装置及び燃料電池システムを提供する。 【解決手段】水素含有ガスを生成するために液体燃料を加熱し、改質するための改質器15と、改質器15の加熱に利用される燃焼熱を発生するために水素を酸化剤により燃焼させるための燃焼器18と、改質器15および燃焼器18を取り囲む断熱容器13と、断熱容器13の外壁の温度が設定値を超えるとスイッチ動作を行う温度スイッチ19と、電源から温度スイッチ19を介して電流の供給を受ける第1の電気的駆動部32を有し、外壁温度が設定値以下の期間に液体燃料を改質器15に供給する燃料供給部30と、酸化剤を燃焼器18に供給する酸化剤供給部20を有する。 【選択図】 図1
<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel reformer of high reliability in which an accident or abnormality such as breakage of an insulation container or the like that occurs suddenly can be coped with promptly with a down-sized and simple composition, and a fuel cell system. <P>SOLUTION: A reformer 15 in which liquid fuel is heated and reformed in order to form hydrogen-containing gas, a combustion equipment 18 in which hydrogen is combusted by an oxidizer to generate combustion heat that is utilized to heat the reformer 15, the insulation container 13 surrounding the reformer 15 and the combustion equipment 18, a temperature switch 19 in which a switching operation is carried out when the temperature at the outside wall of the reformer 13 exceeds a prescribed value, and a first electric driving part 32 that is supplied with a current from the power source via the temperature switch 19 are equipped, while the fuel supply part 30 that supplies the liquid fuel to the reformer 15 during a period when the outside wall temperature is not more than the prescribed value, and the oxidizer supply part 20 that supplies the oxidizer to the combustion equipment 18 are also equipped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
